Telling Christmas: book FIVE

Grace attracts Grace. KMcR Since TC, since TOC, since HH, I realize more and more each and every day how they all will forever be part of any Christmas of ours, yet to come. They will echo through our time, marvelous worlds never to be forgotten, calling to us to keep Christmas forever in our hearts! And they will forever be gifts to us and from us, gifts meant to keep on giving!

Welcome to a little bit of heaven on earth! -from East to West- The Orangery Elizabeth Inn Heritage Hall Elizabeth Inn: One man is waiting for his girlfriend to finish her purchase at Silver and Antique before they dine at The Rose and Crown - a popular spot! Great fish and chips!  The man leaning against the corner post is waiting for his family to arrive by horse-drawn sleigh. He will tie up the horse (with a feed bag and snug blanket) to the post while he and his family, too, enjoy a hot dinner inside the Rose and Crown Tavern! King's Court Chapel

One by one, things got done!    Fabricate roof shingles for King's Court Chapel—use cork cut in strips; then tier, layer, glue, PrismaColor, and antique.    Fabricate steeple roof as grey metal, standing seam roof.    Fabricate cross for steeple.     Fabricate railings, doors and all wood trim. Coordinate all leaded glass, fabricate and install. . . check all details!     Locate all interior lighting.     Fabricate "Snow" for Heritage Square (also from sheets of cork). Publish "How To"  Lighting Manual  for  Heritage Square.  Fabricate a Rooftop Father Christmas (just like ours)!    Detail, finish and install all. Check and recheck. And once done . . .  The Build comes to an end.

Richard had to mock up several roof treatments and color to finally arrive at cork for the shingles to be cut, colored with three shades of red and brown, then . . . iced! 

   Karen, again, set out to find the perfect, Christian stain glass windows for the Chapel. Finding the Christian glass compositions of Jewish artist, Marc Chagall, one of her all-time favorite artists, she used his amazing stain glass works in blue.     The selected photos needed to be sized to fit the chapel window openings and printed on clear transfer paper. Then carefully, they were applied to clear window plastics.    The bells were a fun part! We had to construct (we means "he" Karen says) the wood timber supports for the bells and antique the bells to resemble weathered metal. Imagine the chiming of the bells on Christmas Morning!
